This extraordinary exhibit showcases real human bodies, which have been meticulously dissected and preserved.

Visitors can take a close-up look inside the skeletal, muscular, respiratory, and circulatory systems and come face-to-face with polymer-preserved human bodies. Approximately 200 additional organs and partial specimens reveal the intricacies and complexities that lie beneath the skin.

Friday, January 25, 2008 - Ira Ross and Friends. Ira Ross, Dr. James T. Johnson, and Pamela Janet Johnson lead an evening of Gospel, Spiritual, and Jazz music celebrating Black History and the rich tradition of jazz in Pittsburgh. The performances will include vocal solos, choral selections, and instrumental pieces. A portion of the proceeds from this performance will benefit the Afro-American Music Institute in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood. Ira Ross and Friends is presented at the Hillman Center for Performing Arts, a new, public performance venue on the campus of Shady Side Academy Senior School in Fox Chapel. Doors open at 7 PM, and the performance begins at 7:30 PM. There is ample free parking on the picturesque campus. Tickets are $22.50 for adults, $17.50 for students and seniors, and are available at www.proartstickets.org or by calling (412) 394-3353.
