This exhibit depicts the development of railroads in the Western
Pennsylvania area as led by the Harmony Society. It explores how their investments expanded the region’s major railroads and lured manufacturers, making Pittsburgh an industrial giant in the heartland of America. A historically accurate model railroad setup will depict building structures, rolling stock and scenery reminiscent of a P&LE Railroad operation and other railroad divisions of the early 1900‘s. Children will also have the opportunity to perform the duties of a railroad worker, keeping the railroad functional. The exhibit and model railroad setup are included in the general admission fee.
For all ages Admission: $7 adult, $6 senior (60+), $5 Youth (6-17 years), under 6 free
