Where can you go if you’re thirsty, enjoy music and like a good party? Why, the Pittsburgh Philharmonic annual gala, or course! This year’s event, A Spirited Celebration , promises to be a truly wonderful affair. The gala will be held on Friday, May 30 from 7-10 p.m. among the lush indoor atrium and outdoor lawn and decks at the Springwood Conference Center in Penn Hills, 3.5 miles from Oakmont County Club (directions at www.springwood.org
Attendees will enjoy tastes of excellent wines from vintages around the world plus samplings of other spirits including local microbrews and a nightcap liqueur. Against the backdrop of ensembles from the Pittsburgh Philharmonic one can indulge in delicious hors d’oeuvres and sweets and will be tempted with fabulous auction items!
